Meet Dr. Hector Mera, DC
Dr. Hector Mera, DC, is a chiropractor with years of clinical experience helping patients recover from injuries, improve movement, and return to the activities that matter to them.
He completed his undergraduate education at Appalachian State University and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. His clinical training also included an internship at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, where he worked within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment and gained experience caring for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal concerns.
Those experiences helped shape the kind of doctor he wanted to become.
Dr. Mera believes care should go beyond simply asking where it hurts. He wants to understand what happened, how the problem is affecting movement and everyday life, what may be limiting recovery, and most importantly, what the patient wants to get back to doing.
That philosophy became the foundation for Restore Chiropractic.
Outside of Restore, staying active is an important part of Dr. Mera's own life. He enjoys playing sports, training at the gym, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
He also enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling together, discovering new places, learning about different cultures, and visiting wineries whenever they have the opportunity.
Those experiences are part of why the ability to move, stay active, travel, participate in life, and do the things you enjoy is so important to him—both personally and professionally.
